Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Crisp bacon strips in a skillet until golden and crispy, then drain on paper towels. Rinse and dry the blackberries gently to keep their shape. Tear fresh basil leaves and slice mozzarella into thin rounds for even melting.
  2. Prepare the grill and dough: Preheat grill to medium-high heat, about 450°F, for a perfectly cooked crust. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to desired thickness. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking and encourage browning.
  3. Grill the base: Place the oiled dough directly on grill grates and close the lid. Grill for 2-3 minutes until the bottom shows grill marks and firms up. Carefully flip the dough to grill the other side briefly for about 1 minute.
