Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Robin Egg Candy (speckled blue candies)
  • 1 teaspoon Butter or Coconut Oil (optional for silkier texture)
  • Pinch of Sea Salt (optional)

Optional Toppings

  • Sprinkles (optional, for extra festive flair)
  • Chopped Almonds or Pistachios (optional, for added crunch)
  • Dried Cranberries or Apricots (optional, for chewy sweetness)
  • Peppermint Extract (optional, for mint flavor)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking. Gather and measure all ingredients for an efficient process.
  2. Melt the White Chocolate: Use a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring frequently until smooth. Optionally, add a teaspoon of butter or coconut oil to enhance silkiness.
  3. Spread the Melted Chocolate: Pour the melted white chocolate onto the lined baking sheet and spread evenly with an offset spatula to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  4. Add Robin Egg Candies and Toppings: While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle robin egg candies evenly so they stick well. Add any optional sprinkles, nuts, or other toppings now.
  5. Chill Until Set: Refrigerate the baking sheet for 20-30 minutes or until the bark hardens and snaps easily.
  6. Break Into Pieces and Enjoy: Remove from fridge and carefully break the bark into bite-sized pieces. Serve immediately or store appropriately.

Notes

  • Choose high-quality white chocolate chips for smoother melting and better flavor.
  • Keep candies and nuts at room temperature to avoid moisture issues.
  • Melt chocolate gently to prevent burning or seizing.
  • Adjust thickness: spread thicker for chunkier bark or thinner for crispier bites.
  • Store bark in an airtight container to maintain freshness and prevent sweating.
