  • 34 fresh jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for milder heat)
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 23 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 23 tablespoons melted butter
  • Optional: extra shredded cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, finely chopped jalapeños (with seeds removed for milder heat), sliced green onions, and garlic powder. Stir until well incorporated.
  2. Roll out the crescent dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough sheet onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press the perforations together firmly to create one solid rectangular sheet for easier handling.
  3. Spread and roll: Evenly spread the jalapeño and cheese filling over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Carefully roll the dough tightly into a log starting from one long side, then pinch seams and edges to seal the filling inside.
  4. Slice and shape the ring: Using a sharp knife, cut the rolled log into equal slices approximately 1 to 1.5 inches thick. Arrange these slices in a circle on the baking sheet, forming a ring with the spiral filling facing upwards for a visually appealing presentation.
  5. Add the finishing touches: Brush the entire ring with melted butter to promote beautiful browning. Optionally, sprinkle extra shredded cheese on top to create a golden, cheesy crust.
