Instructions

  4. Prepare Garlic Asparagus: In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add trimmed asparagus spears and chopped garlic. Cook until tender and slightly charred, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Make the Creamy Sauce: Lower heat of the skillet with mixed vegetables, pour in the heavy cream, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth and silky, coating the veggies well.
  6. Combine and Serve: Slice the cooked chicken and return to the skillet, stirring to coat in the creamy sauce for 1 minute. Assemble your bowl by layering the cooked rice, creamy chicken and vegetables, then top with garlic asparagus. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
